Dora Salce inizia a soli tre anni la sua formazione come ballerina classica in Italia e rivela molto presto il suo versatile talento artistico. Attraverso l’evidenziata dote nel ballo la sua particolare sensibilità per la musica classica viene decisamente plasmata e all’età di 11 anni decide di intraprendere lo studio del pianoforte. Il suo precoce talento e la sua forza comunicativo- creativa vengono rapidamente riconosciuti e conseguentemente promossi.
Ben presto vince numerosi concorsi, tra cui il concorso internazionale Città di Teramo, in occasione del quale il celebre violinista Felix Ayo la definisce “fuoriclasse” e dichiara “ Notevole musicalità e padronanza dello strumento. Attenta nel fraseggio musicale e nella cura delle dinamiche sonore, Dora Salce ha dimostrato soprattutto di aver elaborato per la sua età, sia un giusto rapporto tra la sensibilità personale e le possibilità dello strumento, sia di essere attenta e libera criticamente dai giudizi e dalle osservazioni”.
Successivamente vince il concorso pianistico internazionale Premio Seiler a Roma che la porta a suonare per la prima volta in Germania con i pianoforti Seiler coinvolgendo il pubblico con la sua spiccata professionalità e avvincente sensibilità.
Diplomatasi al Conservatorio Luisa D´Annunzio di Pescara, Italia, con lode e menzione d´onore sotto la guida di Filomena Montopoli, prosegue i suoi studi all´estero ricevendo con lode la Laurea di musicista presso la Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, Germania, nella classe di pianoforte di Michael Uhde . È di questo periodo la registrazione degli “Années de pèlerinage en Suisse” di Franz Liszt per la Southwest Radio (SWR), Studio Karlsruhe.
Dora Salce supera la severa e rinomata selezione d´ingresso nella classe del celebre pianista Rudolf Buchbinder presso la Hochschule für Musik Basel, Svizzera dove consegue con successo il Konzertdiplom Klavier.
Contemporaneamente approfondisce, nella stessa Università, lo studio della Musica da Camera nella classe di Sergio Azzolini. Il rinomato fagottista scrive di lei: „Dora Salce è una musicista di grande sensibilità. Il suo particolare talento non è riferito solo all’ambito solistico, bensì anche a quello cameristico. Ho avuto modo di ascoltarla in situazioni di musica da camera, dove era indiscutibilmente riconoscibile la sua forza comunicativa con la quale riesce a trascinare i suoi partner musicali. Le sue particolari forze risiedono nel suono, il quale conferisce al pianoforte un timbro vocale“.
Grazie alla vincita di una borsa di studio concessa dall’ École Normale de Musique de Paris, frequenta l´ École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot con Marian Rybicki.
In seguito consegue con lode il Master Specialized Music Performance nella Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurigo) sotto la guida di Friedeman Rieger.
Dora Salce amplia nel contempo la sua esperienza musicale seguendo masterclasses internazionali con personalità rinomate quali Boris Petrushansky, Yonty Solomon, Evgeny Koroliov, Joaquin Soriano, Brigitte Meyer, Pavel Vernikov, Bruno Canino, Homero Francesch, Eugenio Bagnoli.
Numerosi premi aggiuntivi quali borse di studio, erogate da enti e associazioni di prestigio confermano il suo particolare talento musicale: Fondazione Cini – Biennale Venezia, Associazioni Husmann e Eppur si muove, Zurigo; Fondation pour des bourse d´etudes Italo-Suisse, Ginevra.
E’ vincitrice del Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, Ginevra.

Dora Salce began with ballet lessons in Italy at the age of three. Her multifaceted artistic talent became manifest very quickly. The early encounter with dance proved an important factor in enhancing her special sensibility for classical music.
At the age of 11, she decided to study piano. Her exceptional talent and the creative and communicative force of expression she displayed were soon recognized and consistently fostered from then on.
It did not take long for her to win numerous competitions in her home country, including the international competition of Teramo. This led Felix Ayo, a renowned violinist, to describe her as an exceptional talent and to add: “Dora Salce has revealed considerable musicality and command of her instrument. Despite her tender age, she demonstrated that she has achieved the right connection between personal sensibility and the possibilities of the instrument, and that, thanks to her ability of self-appraisal, she can be attentive to assessments and observations by others without becoming dependent on them.”
Only two years later, at the age of 13, she won the Premio Seiler international piano competition in Rome and shortly afterwards, playing on Seiler grand pianos, enchanted audiences in Germany with some professional and sensitive performances.
After completing her piano studies with Professor Filomena Montopoli at the Conservatory Luisa D’Annunzio in Pescara with honors, Dora Salce continued to study at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, Germany, with Professor Michael Uhde and finished her education there with honors, too. During this period, she recorded Franz Liszt’s “Années de pèlerinage en Suisse” for the Südwestfunk (SWR) broadcasting corporation.
Dora Salce passed the strict entrance examination for the master class of the celebrated pianist Rudolf Buchbinder at the Musik-Akademie Basel in Switzerland, where her outstanding musical talent continued to be honed in a targeted manner.
At the same University she deepens the study of chamber music in the master class of Sergio Azzolini. The renowned bassoonist writes about her: “Dora Salce is a musician of great sensitivity. She has a special talent not only as a soloist but also as a chamber musician. I have had the opportunity to listen to her in chamber music contexts, where she showed undeniably recognisable communicative power, with which she successfully leads her musical partners. Her particular strengths lie in the sound, which gives the piano a vocal timbre.”
She was subsequently awarded a scholarship by the Animato foundation, which enabled her to study at the École Normale de Musique de Paris under Professor Marian Rybicki and to further enhance her musical skills.
Right after she earn a Master in Specialized Music Performance degree (majoring in chamber music) under Friedemann Rieger at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
Numerous international master classes provided further enriching experiences for her musical development. They were taught by renowned personalities in the world of music such as Boris Petrushansky, Yonty Solomon, Evgeny Koroliov, Pavel Vernikov, Joaquin Soriano, Brigitte Meyer, Homero Francesch, Eugenio Bagnoli, Bruno Canino.
Over the years, a growing number of scholarships and awards have confirmed her extraordinary musical talent. Dora Salce was a Cini Foundation scholarship holder at the Venice Biennale.
She won the Husmann and Allegro foundations scholarships in Zurich and a scholarship of the Fondation pour des bourses d’etudes Italo-Suisses in Geneva. Awards include first prize at the international piano competition in Guardiagrele, Italy and first prize at the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe piano competition in Geneva, Switzerland.

Dora Salce begann im Alter von drei Jahren ihre Ausbildung als Balletttänzerin in Italien und zeigte schon sehr früh ihre vielseitige künstlerische Begabung. Durch ihre tänzerischen Fähigkeiten wurde vor allem auch ihre besondere Sensibilität für die klassische Musik entscheidend geprägt und entwickelt. Im Alter von 11 Jahren entschied sie sich, das Klavierstudium anzufangen.
Ihr aussergewöhnliches Talent und ihre kreative und kommunikative Ausdruckskraft wurden schnell erkannt und konsequent gefördert.
Sie gewann schon bald zahlreiche Wettbewerbe in ihrer Heimat, unter anderem den internationalen Wettbewerb in Teramo (Italien), worauf der berühmte Geiger Felix Ayo sie als „Ausnahmetalent“ bezeichnete und anmerkte: „Dora Salce hat beträchtliche Musikalität und Beherrschung des Instruments offenbart. Sie hat trotz ihres jungen Alters gezeigt, dass sie sowohl die richtige Verbindung zwischen der persönlichen Sensibilität und den Möglichkeiten des Instruments ausgearbeitet hat, sowie auch durch ihre Selbstkritik gleichzeitig frei und achtsam gegenüber Beurteilungen und Betrachtungen ist.“
Danach gewann sie den Klavierwettbewerb Premio Seiler in Rom und kurz darauf konzertierte Dora Salce erstmals in Deutschland auf den Seiler Flügeln und bezauberte das Publikum mit ihren professionellen und sensiblen Darbietungen.
Nach ihrem Klavierabschluss, mit Auszeichnung, bei Professorin Filomena Montopoli am Konservatorium Luisa D’Annunzio in Pescara, Italien, studierte Dora Salce weiter an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, Deutschland, bei Michael Uhde, und beendete auch dort ihre Ausbildung erfolgreich mit Auszeichnung.
In dieser Zeit konnte sie für den Südwestrundfunk (SWR), Studio Karlsruhe, die Années de pèlerinage en Suisse von Franz Liszt aufnehmen.
Sie bestand die anerkannt strenge Aufnahmeprüfung in der Meisterklasse von weltberühmten Pianist Rudolf Buchbinder an der Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel, Schweiz.
Während dieser Zeit, wurde ihre aussergewöhnliche, musikalische Begabung weiter gezielt gefördert.
Gleichzeitig vertieft sie das Studium der Klavierkammermusik an der gleichen Hochschule bei Sergio Azzolini. Der renommierte Fagottist zur jungen Pianistin:

Ihre besonderen Stärke liegt im Klang, der ihrem Klavierspiel vokale Züge verleiht“.
Im Anschluss gewann Dora Salce ein Stipendium der Association École Normale de Musique de Paris, welches ihr ermöglichte, an der École Normale de Musique de Paris bei Marian Rybicki zu studieren und ihr musikalisches Können weiter zu bereichern.
Anschliessend absolvierte sie mit Erfolg den Master in Specialized Music Performance an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zürich, Schweiz) bei Friedemann Rieger.
Weitere prägnante Erfahrungen in ihrem musikalischen Werdegang machte Dora Salce durch zahlreiche, internationale Masterkurse, unter anderem bei renommierten Persönlichkeiten wie Boris Petrushansky, Yonty Solomon, Evgeni Koroliov, Pavel Vernikov, Joaquin Soriano, Brigitte Meyer, Homero Francesch, Eugenio Bagnoli, Bruno Canino.
Im Laufe der Jahre erhielt Dora Salce weitere zahlreiche Würdigungen: sie war Stipendiatin der Stiftung Cini in der Biennale in Venedig, Preisträgerin des Stipendium Husmann Stiftung, Allegro Stiftung in Zurich und Preisträgerin des Stipendium Fondation pour des bourse d’etudes Italo-Suisse in Genf, Schweiz. Als erste Preisträgerin überhaupt siegte sie beim Internationalen Klavierwettbewerb in Guardiagrele, Italien und beim Internationalen Klavierwettbewerb Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe in Genf.

Dora Salce entame une formation de danseuse classique en Italie à l’âge de trois ans, et montre très tôt de grandes dispositions artistiques. L’apprentissage de la danse lui permet avant tout de développer une sensibilité particulière pour la musique classique, marquant celle-ci de manière décisive. A l’âge de 11 ans, Dora Salce décide d’apprendre le piano. Son talent exceptionnel, sa force d’expression communicative et sa créativité sont rapidement remarqués et vivement encouragés.
Elle remporte bientôt de nombreux concours en Italie, notamment celui de Terramo, lors duquel le célèbre violoniste Felix Ayo la qualifie de «talent exceptionnel», déclarant à son sujet: «Dora Salce fait preuve d’une grande musicalité et d’une parfaite maîtrise de l’instrument. Malgré son jeune âge, elle a su trouver un parfait équilibre entre sa sensibilité personnelle et les possibilités de l’instrument, tout en développant un sens de l’autocritique qui la rend aussi libre qu’attentive envers le jugement et l’avis d’autrui.»
Juste après elle remporte le concours de piano Premio Seiler à Rome, puis donne ses premiers concerts en Allemagne sur les pianos à queue de la maison Seiler. Elle conquiert le public par le professionnalisme et la sensibilité de ses interprétations.
Après son diplôme de piano, obtenu avec mention auprès de Filomena Montopoli au Conservatoire Luisa D’Annunzio de Pescara, Italie, Dora Salce continue ses études au Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Karlsruhe, Allemagne auprès du professeur Michael Uhde, où elle termine ses études avec distinction. Durant cette période, elle enregistre «Les années de pèlerinage en Suisse» de Franz Liszt pour le studio de Karlsruhe de la Südwestrundfunk (SWR).
Elle passe le très strict examen d’entrée dans la classe de maître du célèbre pianiste Rudolf Buchbinder, à l’Académie de Musique de Bâle, Suisse. Au cours des trois années suivantes, ses talents musicaux exceptionnels continuent d’être encouragés de manière ciblée.
Grâce à une bourse d’études de la Fondation Animato, elle poursuit ses études à l’Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, France, et approfondit ses compétences musicales auprès du professeur Marian Rybicki.
Elle réussit ensuite son master en Specialized Music Performance auprès de Friedeman Rieger, à la Haute Ecole des Arts de Zurich, Suisse.
Dora Salce élargit son champ d’expérience musicale sur le plan international par des cours de maître auprès de Boris Petrushansky, Yonty Solomon, Evgeni Koroliov, Pavel Vernikov, Joaquin Soriano, Brigitte Meyer, Homero Francesch, Eugenio Bagnoli, Bruno Canino.
Les honneurs remportés au fil des ans témoignent de son immense talent musical: de 2002 à 2004, une bourse lui est allouée par la Fondation Cini à la Biennale de Venise, elle est lauréate de la Fondation Husmann, de la Fondation Allegro (Zurich, Suisse) puis de la Fondation pour des bourse d’études Italo-Suisse (Genève, Suisse),elle remporte le premier prix au concours international de piano à Guardiagrele, Italie et e premier prix au concours international de piano de la Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, à Genève.
Dora Salce honore des engagements comme soliste et comme chambriste dans le monde entier.
